How I create a Custom dog Golf Headcover from sketch to finish

I,m Andreana and I've been making puppets for over 25 years. These days my passion is turning peoples beloved Dogs into one-of-a-kind golf headcovers .
Every single one is made by hand in my London studio- sculpted and stitched and from scratch
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1: You Send Me Your Photos
It all starts with your dog. Once you place your order, you send me clear photos -ideally from the front, back and side. The more I can see of your dog’s individual features, the better. That wonky ear, the particular shape of the nose, the exact shade of the coat- these are the details that make the difference between a generic dog and your dog.
Step 2: I Create the Sketch
This is where the magic begins. I don’t just replicate a photo - I design a character. I study your dog’s most distinctive features and exaggerate them just enough to give the headcover personality , while still being unmistakably your pet.
You receive the sketch before I make anything. This is your chance to say “yes, that’s him” or to ask for tweaks. Nothing gets made until you’re happy with the design.
Step 3: Sketch Approval
This step matters a lot to me. I want you to feel involved and confident before a single stitch is sewn. Most customers love the sketch straight away. Occasionally I refine a detail or two. Either way, you’re in control.
Step 4: Sewing, Sculpting and Hand-Painting
Once the sketch is approved, the making begins. I sew the base form, then sculpt the facial features by hand - building up the shape, the expression, the character. The painting is done entirely by hand, to capture your dog’s exact colouring and markings.
This is the part I love most. Every headcover takes hours of focused, careful work. There are no shortcuts and no two are ever the same.

Step 5: Pre-Shipping Sign-Off
Before I pack it up, I photograph the finished headcover and send it to you. A second pair of eyes - yours-on the final piece. Only when you’re happy does it get wrapped and sent on its way to you.
The Result
A completely individual, handmade golf headcover that looks like your dog, makes people smile on the course, and will never be replicated anywhere else in the world.
